Leatherstone™ is an ideal choice for exterior woodwork although it can undergo some weathering. High levels of UV radiation will affect the sheen and have a greying effect on the wood, but the earth pigments used to create our patinas are light fast. There is UV protection in our finish, to minimize the effects of intense sunlight. Any flattening of the finish due to weathering, strong solvents, or abrasives, can be renewed with an application of a special wipe-on finish.
